![]() Unsurpassed Security Measures We understand the sensitive nature of the data handled by SecureCreditServer, and have implemented a multi-tiered approach to providing the best security. Each safeguard protects against a specific type of risk. We have combined these safeguards into a unified service. The result is an intricate network of protective measures that utilize industry-standard encryption and authentication techniques. SecureCreditServer utilizes the following technologies built into its security infrastructure. From request to response, SecureCreditServer provides secure transactions for your credit reporting needs. |

![]() Passive client-side encryption Your server, using industry-standard techniques from within the SecureCreditServer Library, encrypts each credit report request. SSL Encryption Server-to-server encryption using SSL certificates allows SecureCreditServer to verify that requests for data are indeed coming from your server, and protects the data on the wire with an additional level of encryption. HTTPS protocol SecureCreditServer exposes all of its functionality over port 443, eliminating the necessity of additional holes in your firewall. This simplifies maintenance and security for the web-based programmatic interface that SecureCreditServer provides. End-to-end encryption The request is encrypted at the client prior to transmission and is only decrypted to communicate with the credit data providers. This ensures that the data is encrypted at all times, except were necessary on the client's and credit provider's private network. Asymmetric key encryption SecureCreditServer maintains two encryption key pairs for every client – one that allows the client to encrypt its request, and one to encrypt the resulting credit data. This implementation guarantees that SecureCreditServer is the only party that can decrypt your request, and you are the only party that can decrypt the response. Copyright© 2008 - mhe.net, inc.
